Base Roto Vitamins Assembly Guide

 Note: 
- You can get yourself a Roto Vitamins upgrade kit here.
- Make sure to print the Roto Vitamins cover before you start this upgrade. The STL file is available here.
- Roto motor is not included in the upgrade kit, you can get yourself one here.
- Bolts are not included in the upgrade kit, so please ensure you have them on hand before you start this upgrade. This guide will walk you through any bolts that need to be sourced separately.

Your upgrade kit will have the following components:

• 1 x Roto Gearbox
• 1 x Roto Idler
• 1 x Roto Drive Hobb
• 1 x Bowden Coupling
• 1 x M-FIX-DOWEL-18-3
• 1 x M-FIX-DOWEL-18-1

During this upgrade, you will need: 

• 1 x 2.0mm hex key
• 3mm drill bit
• 1 x M3x12 bolt
• 2 x M3x30 bolts
• 1 x M3x35 bolt
• 1 x Roto Motor

1. Locate the M-FIX-DOWEL-18-1 (1mm diameter pin) in your upgrade kit and insert it into the designated hole on the Roto Vitamins Cover.

Note:
- Apply pressure with your finger in the direction indicated by the red arrow in the image below to ensure the M-FIX-DOWEL-18-1 is fully inserted through the second hole on the Roto Vitamins Cover.

Note:
- You might need to press the M-FIX-DOWEL-18-1 against a hard surface, like your desk, to ensure it is fully inserted. 
- You can use the end of a hex key or small flat head screwdriver to press it in the final bit if needed. 

2. Locate the M-FIX-DOWEL-18-3 (3mm diameter pin) in your upgrade kit and insert it into the designated hole on the Roto Vitamins Cover.

Note:
- Ensure the M-FIX-DOWEL-18-3 is fully inserted into its designated hole until it sits flush with the back of the Roto Vitamins Cover. 
- You need to ensure that the M-FIX-DOWEL-18-3 is completely perpendicular to the face it is pressed against so that the drivetrain runs smoothly.
- Since the Roto Vitamins cover is 3D printed, the hole tolerances may differ depending on the printer. You may need to clear out the M-FIX-DOWEL-18-3 hole using a 3mm drill bit before inserting it. Once done, press the M-FIX-DOWEL-18-3 against a hard surface, like a desk, to ensure it is completely inserted.

3. Locate the Roto Idler in your upgrade kit and attach the spring as demonstrated in the image below.

4. Mount the Roto Idler into the Roto Vitamins Cover. 

Note:
- Ensure that the Roto Idler is fully inserted. 
- You may need to press the spring in further by hand if it binds up on the cover, you can use a large hex key to assist with this.

5. Mount the Roto Drive Hobb into the Roto Vitamins Cover by inserting it in the M-FIX-DOWEL-18-3.

Note:
- Make sure that the Roto Idler is disengaged before fully inserting the Roto Drive Hobb. 
- It is recommended to leave the idler clipped over the dowel pin and disengaged from the Roto Drive Hobb until it is assembled onto the gearbox so that it doesn't push the 3mm dowel pin out of alignment.

6. Attach the Roto Motor to the Roto Gearbox by securing it with the M3x12 bolt, as shown in the picture below.

7. Secure the Revo Vitamins cover to the gearbox by fastening 2 x M3x30 bolts and 1 x M3x35 bolt.
