Note: Your own 3D Printer setup and filament choice will have an effect on the maximum VFR you can achieve so bear this in mind when referring to these values.

V6 Nozzle Hot Tightening Guide

The V6 nozzle Hot tightening guide focuses on the hotside, the process is the same regardless of the cold side.

Using the onboard LCD or web interface heat the V6 Hotside assembly up to 285°C. Wait roughly a minute at 285°C to allow the different materials to equalise in temperature.

Using a 7mm spanner and an adjustable wrench tightening the unit.

You are aiming for 2Nm of torque here; if you apply too much pressure at this stage, you will risk shearing either the nozzle or HeatBreak. If you are concerned, we recommend the use of a torque wrench set to 2Nm.
