There’s no doubt about it. 2025 has been an exciting year for E3D! There’s a real buzz around our humble little company right now, and we’re delighted to be recognised as a brand partner of choice by the world’s leading printer manufacturers.
As we prepare for our well-earned Christmas break, what better time to get things rep-rapped-up and to take a look what’s on the horizon for 2026. 
Key highlights from 2025 – new products, innovations and teammates!
This year we launched our brand new ObXiDian 500 range complete with Bambu Lab, Prusa and Revo variants which are already proving to be super popular! The technology in ObXiDian 500 seamlessly blends all of the benefits of our previous ranges into one new super product. Think high-temperature printing, extreme wear-resistance, pristine print finishes, as well as faster flow rates compared to your stock hardware.
Speaking of fast … At Formnext we unveiled our next-generation high flow technology, FUGE, which is due to land in 2026! If you missed the FUGE hype online, in a nutshell this new technology allows super speedy printing thanks to a flattened-out meltzone, meaning the polymer becomes molten far more efficiently. With a single-channel design (Fast, Unified-Geometry Extrusion), clogs are also less likely, and easier to fix. Watch this video to learn more about the design from our Engineering Manager Rory. 
A year of relationship building
We’re a friendly bunch here at E3D so it’s not surprising that 2025 saw us continue some longstanding industry partnerships and create some new ones along the way.
Our partnership with Prusa continued to blossom this year with a co-launch of ObXiDian 500 at Formnext along with their new HT HotEnd Upgrade for the CORE One/+ and CORE One L which comes with our ObXiDian 500 nozzle as standard. 💪
Our relationship with Bambu Lab also continued to thrive with the release of the High Flow ObXidian and DiamondBack HotEnds for their A1 and A1 mini, along with a new HotEnd for their H2D/H2S/H2C printers.
Plus, you've been asking for it since we launched our X1/P1 High Flow Bambu Lab HotEnds, and now you've got it! Bambu Lab have very recently integrated high flow slicer profiles directly into Bambu Studio to even further speed up the printing process.
What’s more, 3D printing enthusiasts can now get E3D HotEnds direct from the Bambu Lab store! This momentum was mirrored with Creality who also started reselling our nozzles via their global sales channels this year too – just one more way for you to easily get your hands on our premium printer upgrades. 
Another big new partnership was unveiled towards the end of the year as we announced our new venture with Batch.Works. E3D’s mission is to change the way humanity manufactures goods and we are BEYOND excited that this union will do just that! Batch.Works’ amazing circular materials and software platform combined with E3D’s innovative engineering and operations expertise = next-generation 3D printing farms in the UK and Globally! We are SO ready to show the world that 3D printing can replace traditional manufacturing at scale. Keep your eyes on this new chapter – it’s going to be epic!

We also worked with some amazing content creators this year. It’s always an honour when our products can help all you creative geniuses out there to realise your dream projects. Not all plain sailing…
A good year isn’t ever without its challenges and this year the removal of the de minimis threshold and increase to US tariffs have unfortunately made ordering more complex and more costly for our American customers. We are genuinely sorry for the inconvenience this has caused however these decisions are sadly not something we can influence.
These changes have made our global reseller network more important than ever, allowing customers to shop locally, avoid unexpected customs charges or hidden fees, and enjoy a smoother, one-click purchasing experience. When you’re next in the market for E3D goodies we encourage you to check out our reseller map to find a local shop.
In parallel, we continue to work towards offering DDP shipping options to the US. Although this has taken longer than expected, we are aiming to roll this out early in the new year so customers can see the full and final cost clearly at checkout – thanks for bearing with us!
Looking ahead to 2026
We’re heading into 2026 with huge excitement and optimism for what the next generation of 3D printing will look like. As well as cooking up loads of new ideas that we can’t wait to share over the coming months, our team have also been busy growing in other ways. 👶 We are really looking forward to the E3D family expanding in 2026 with a couple of team babies due imminently! We’re determined to get them as obsessed about 3D printing as we are in no time. 💙
Our new and long-standing collaborations will see us continue to bring innovative products to market that elevate the performance of people’s 3D printers.
