E3D today announces FlowCore™, a licensing programme covering E3D's high flow
extrusion technology for additive manufacturing, including the recently announced
FUGE portfolio and related flow-improving intellectual property.
The patents covered by the FlowCore mark are published in full at FlowCoreIP.com so
that anyone can see exactly which granted rights a product carrying the mark is made
under. Manufacturers interested in access to the portfolio are welcome to contact E3D.
E3D are in discussions with further parties and expect the register to grow over the
coming weeks.
The first OEM product on the market carrying the FlowCore mark is the Snapmaker ×
Phaetus Liber™ High Flow Hotend for U1, released today, which is manufactured by
Jiangsu Runice 3D Technology under licence to E3D's high flow patents.
High flow printing has moved from a specialist feature to something users expect as
standard. We would rather see the technology adopted widely and on a licensed footing
than not, and we look forward to enabling better print quality and faster, smoother
printing across the market.
