Description

A plated copper V6 heater block allows you to reach temperatures up to 500°C (providing you use a PT100 or PT1000) unlocking the possibilities of printing high-temperature filaments such as Ultem and PEEK.

Supplied with an M3 grub screw to secure a cartridge-style thermistor, PT100 or PT1000, and an M3 dome head screw to clamp the heater cartridge

Must have for tungsten carbide nozzles

I upgraded to the copper plated heater block before I started using tungsten carbide (WC) nozzles, only to find out that once I started using WC nozzles this heater block is why I didn't have any leaking issues. The thermal expansion of aluminum vs WC will eventually cause the WC nozzle to loosen up causing the same leaks as not properly tightening any other nozzle. The copper heater block will keep a WC nozzle tight up against the heatbreak, avoiding messy leaks and reducing the potential of blobs of death.

Great Pruchase

I bought this after having some issues printing non PLA filaments, once I installed it and tried to print PETG the performance was much better with consistent extrusion as I was no longer getting fluctuations in temperature likes I was with the Aluminium heat blocks, this had results in much better prints and much happier me.

Highly recommend

I use this on a mk3 with a nozzle x. It has eliminated filament sticking which otherwise causes unsightly blobs. Also better temperature stability. Would highly recommend
