Hi there! Tell us about yourself…
Hello! I’m Thomas Mittendrein. In 2015 I founded the Austrian-based company 3DJake, which has grown to become a leading online shop for 3D printing enthusiasts.
I’ve always been passionate about technical developments and additive manufacturing. I bought my first 3D printer back in the early days of 3D printing and took a deep dive into the technology. Over time, 3DJake has grown to offer a wide range of FFF and resin 3D printers, spare parts, upgrades, and modelling kits to customers all over the world. My team provides excellent customer service thanks to their wealth of expertise in 3D printing and their passion for e-commerce.

How did you discover E3D? Which E3D products are most popular with your customers?
If you’re involved in the 3D printing industry, there’s no way around E3D. Their high-quality products help customers get maximum performance out of their machines. My personal favourite E3D product is Hemera or the V6 HotEnd. Both are bestsellers in our shop.

In your opinion, what’s the best thing about working in the 3D printing industry?
The constant development and the wide range of possible applications 3D printing offers in so many fields. There’s a strong global community that exchanges great ideas that advances the technology we have today.
Most important question: when things are back to normal, when can you visit us and what drink can we get you?
When things are back to normal – and hopefully they are soon – I’d love to visit and have a nice gin and tonic!
