Why do you need to wear gloves when handling?
We recommend the use of gloves when handling high-temperature nozzles and blocks as the oils from your hands off gas at high temperatures result in an unpleasant odour and increased probability for accelerated corrosion of component parts.
Why doesn’t the high-temperature Hotside have a
HeaterCore like the standard Revo?
From our extensive research and development, we found that using a traditional block and cartridge setup, whilst maintaining the ease of use of the Revo nozzles, provided the most reliable, robust solution.
Why do the Revo high-temperature products not have silicone socks?
In short, they do exist and will be available to buy separately by the end of the year. Unlike the rest of the Revo range, the high-temperature
nozzle tip and block socks are brown in colour. This is due to the high-temperature silicone’s ability to receive dye being much reduced compared to the standard Revo rubber. Please note that these socks are only rated up to 400°C.
